The adjectives have to agree in number and in gender with the noun they are describing: masculine vs feminine, singular vs plural Generally adding an ‘S’ makes it plural. (or ‘ES’ if the adjective ends in a consonant instead of a vowel). Generally an ‘O’ is a masculine ending and ‘A’ is the feminine ending. Adjectives that end in other letters can be masculine or feminine. We talked about gender of words at the beginning of the year with Spanish names. |
